Edinburgh University, U.K.

Two Postdoctoral Fellowships in Particle Physics Theory

Applications are invited for two postdoctoral fellowships in
theoretical particle physics each tenable for two years. We seek
scientists with strong research records, one in lattice QCD, and one
in collider physics at LHC and ILC, Higgs, supersymmetry, extra
dimensions, or other particle physics beyond the Standard Model. The
lattice QCD post is available from 1 October 2006 while the other post
is available immediately.

The University of Edinburgh is a member of the Scottish Universities
Physics Alliance (SUPA, http://www.supa.ac.uk), a new
trans-institutional alliance that creates a common strategy for
physics research across Scotland. Funded by Government and the six
participant Universities, it has £14M ($25M) over four years to
create world-leading research initiatives, and a Scotland-wide
Graduate School. A joint theme in Particle Physics is being carried
forward with our colleagues in Glasgow.
