RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
LATTICE GAUGE THEORY
INDIANA UNIVERSITY

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate 
position in lattice gauge theory with a starting date potentially
as soon as July 15, 2006.

Initial appointment is for one year, with probable renewal
for a second year.  We seek outstanding candidates in
lattice gauge theory for work on a new NSF supported project 
with possible additional support from a DOE SciDAC project.

Applicants with expertise in U(1) lattice theory, baryon 
spectroscopy or heavy-light physics (especially neutral meson 
mixing) are especially encouraged to apply.  The successful 
applicant will have excellent software development skills.  
Knowledge of MILC or SciDAC codes will be a strong advantage.

Each application should include a curriculum vitae,
a description of research interests and accomplishments,
and a list of publications.  Candidates should also have
at least three letters of reference sent to
