[LatticeNews] staggered quarks

Dear colleagues,

The organizers of Lattice 2007 -- http://www.physik.uni-regensburg.de/ 
lat07/ -- have asked me to summarize recent results on and with  
staggered quarks.  They envision two parts (of roughly equal duration):

	-- an assessment of theoretical developments (pro and contra)  
concerning rooted staggered fermions

	-- a survey of recent results in lattice QCD obtained with staggered  
sea (and valence) quarks

I would appreciate it if you could alert me to recent or forthcoming  
work on these subjects.  Thanks,
