          THE XXVI INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON LATTICE FIELD THEORY

                              LATTICE 2008 (SECOND CIRCULAR)

The LATTICE 2008 conference will take place from July 14 to July 19
at the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia, USA.

Registration and opening reception will be held on July 13 (Sunday) in
the evening.  The conference program starts on July 14 (Monday) in the
morning and concludes on July 19 (Saturday) at noon.

The program includes plenary talks, parallel talks, and a poster
session, with the following topics:

    Algorithms and machines
    Applications beyond QCD
    Chiral symmetry
    Hadron spectroscopy
    Hadron structure
    Nonzero temperature and density
    Standard model parameters and renormalization
    Theoretical developments
    Vacuum structure and confinement
    Weak decays and matrix elements

Registration for the conference is now open. Through May 31, the  
registration fee will be $400. From June 1 through July 7, the fee  
will be $450. From July 8 through the start of the conference, the  
fee will be $475.  For students through May 31,  the registration fee  
will be $200. From June 1 through July 7, the fee will be $250. From  
July 8 through the start of the conference, the fee will be $275.  
Participants are expected to obtain
their own funding.  Limited support may be available for students
  who cannot  obtain sufficient support elsewhere. Students who wish  
to be considered for such support should submit their abstract by  
Sunday 25th May, and request support via an email sent to  
lattice2008_admin at jlab.org. In addition a reference email  from their  
supervisor should be sent
to the same address.

Abstract submission is also open at this time. The deadline is June 14.

The conference web site (see above) contains some information about
the conference, including travel to and accommodation in Williamsburg.
We will have accommodations both in  dorm style rooms on campus and
a hotel in walking distance from the conference site.
